If you are using Windows then you will probably want the Windows binary!
However if you have Python and pygame installed, go ahead and get the source.

umm..I hav a question on your first tutorial.Where you ink the drawing.See first off, do we start inking on the transperent layer or do we have to add a new layer?Secondly,i tried doing the first line but it doesn't show up!And the line thingy is purple.(im pretty sure thts not suppose to happen)can you help me im still VERY new to using gimp!

Start inking on a new layer. Make sure it is above all your other layers (if its underneath a layer, you might not see it because that layer is blocking it!)

Maybe you should experiment with layers and stuff first, get used to the GIMP before following the tutorial :)
